May 27th- Cynthia Fox talks with Campaign Manager Greg Propper about the, Got Your 6 Campaign, that helps benefit our Veterans Part 4

Cynthia Fox talks with Campaign Manager Greg Propper about the, Got Your 6 Campaign, that helps benefit our Veterans. The Got Your 6, or "Got Your Back" Campaign was created so that people would have the opportunity to come together and help our Veterans who are coming home. We will have over 1 million Veterans coming home over the next 5 years and Got Your 6 wants to make sure they have everything they need to make a clean transition. The Campaign is being run by the entertainment industry to change the conversation about Veterans and Military Families. The two goals of this Campaign are 1) Don't hire Vets as a charity, hire them because of their skills, training, and leadership ability and 2) It is an activation campaign to help set them up for success when they get home. This is not just an awareness campaign and it is not just an effort to say thank you, this Campaign has actual metrics and goals associated with it. In order to reach their goals they have teamed up with the best non-profits from around the country to help with the 6 Pillars of re-integration. The 6 Pillars are jobs, education, health, housing, family, and leadership. For more information, to donate money, or to get the Got Your 6 Lapel Pin (seen on celebrities like Ryan Seacrest, Tom Hanks etc.) please go to www.gotyour6.org
